About The Mane A.C.T Hair Care
Hair growth is a complex biological process that occurs in cycles. The hair growth cycle consists of three main phases:
>Anagen (Growth Phase): This is the active phase where hair follicles produce new hair. It can last anywhere from 2 to 7 years, depending on genetics and other factors. During this phase, the hair is actively growing.
>Catagen (Transitional Phase): This phase lasts a few weeks. The hair stops growing, and the follicle begins to shrink. Blood supply to the follicle reduces, and the hair becomes detached from the follicle.
>Telogen (Resting Phase): This phase lasts several months. The hair is no longer growing, but it is still in the follicle. Eventually, the hair will shed, and a new hair will begin to grow in its place.
Hair growth is influenced by various factors, including genetics, hormones, diet, and lifestyle. Nutrients like vitamins (especially biotin, vitamin D, and iron) can play a role in supporting healthy hair. Additionally, stress and certain medical conditions can disrupt hair growth and cause thinning or hair loss.
